After a ten-day search, Christie was found staying at the Swan Hydropathic Hotel in Harrogate, Posing as an outgoing South African lady, she regaled guests with her stories, and introduced herself as Mrs. Teresa Neale – the surname of Archie's lover.

Agatha Christie's disappearance remains shrouded in mystery, as she never provided a satisfactory explanation for her actions. The incident is often referred to as "The Harrogate Incident" and remains one of the most intriguing unsolved mysteries associated with the author.
