On the morning of January 27, 2015, three members of the Van Breda family were found dead at their luxury home in Stellenbosch. Two of the children survived: 16-year-old Marli was at the brink of death and 20-year-old Henri only suffered minor injuries. The crime scene was a blood bath, and Henri described an attack by an axe wielding madman wearing a mask. But police suspected the Van Breda’s surviving son knew more than he was letting on.
