On Friday the 13th of January 2017, 20-year-old Birna Brjánsdóttir went out to a nightclub in downtown Reykjavik. She left in the early morning hours of the Saturday, but never made it home. 8 days later, her body washed up on a beach. CCTV footage showed Birna’s last moments, as she disappeared in the car of an unknown person.
