On a cold winter’s morning in 1980, Johan Asplund never showed up for school. Intensive search efforts yielded no clues as to the 11-year-old boy’s whereabouts. Despite multiple trials, two convictions and acquittals the case remains unsolved. 40 years after he came up missing, his parents Anna-Clara and Björn, are still holding out hope that they will one day know for sure what happened to their son.
